Energy drawing

This is the google drawing that I made to show the difference between kinetic and potential energy.

Types of energy chart

Types of Energy

Energy is due to position or movement of an object - Kinetic and Potential
Forms of energy
What is it?
Example?
Kinetic energy
Energy in movement
Horse, Goat, Dog, Dropping a ball
Mechanical energy
Makes things move by workable moving part or parts.
Wind up toy, scissors
Thermal energy
Thermal energy is the energy that comes from heat.
Fire, The sun, Heater
Magnetic energy
Energy from attraction of objects made of iron.
Magnet
Electrical energy
Electrical energy can be used to move charged parts through a wire.
Phone charger, Computer charger, Fridge plug, Keyboard plug, Oven plug
Potential energy
Stored Energy
Table, Chair, Building, Book
Gravitational energy
Energy stored in objects held above the earth’s surface
People, Animals, Plants, Buildings
Elastic energy
Elastic energy is the potential mechanical energy
Slingshot, rubber band, hair tie
Chemical energy
Chemical Energy is energy stored in the bonds of chemical compounds (atoms and molecules).
Batteries, petrol, natural gas, and coal
Nuclear energy
At a nuclear energy facility, the heat from fission is used to produce steam, which spins a turbine to generate electricity.
